BTI Communications Group, LTD. is a commercial security integrator with an office in Santa Fe Springs serving the Inland Empire, in business for over 40 years. We install access control for industrial buildings, flex space and industrial parks across the Inland Empire, from Ontario and Fontana to Riverside, Perris and the High Desert. BTI has no Inland Empire office and serves the region from Santa Fe Springs, about 26 miles from Ontario and 39 miles from Riverside in a straight line. California licenses ACO #7670 and C-7 807767. Call 562-298-5070.

Requirements
Recommended setup
Industrial stock in the region runs from small flex units to large single tenant buildings with secured yards. The setup below adapts to both.
Vehicle and pedestrian gate readers, intercoms and plate recognition where needed.
Door contacts and readers on man doors, with propped and forced door alerts.
A reader and video intercom at the main entry for staff and visitors.
Partitioned platforms so each tenant manages its own users in a shared park.
Remote unlock, scheduled hours and lockdown from a phone or browser.
Battery backup and heat rated enclosures for gates and exterior doors.
Gate and door cameras tied to access events.
Many Inland Empire industrial buildings sit inside a fenced yard with one or two vehicle gates. BTI puts gate operators, readers, intercoms and, where useful, plate recognition on the same platform as the building, so the owner or tenant sees every entry in one place.
Long runs to gates use fiber or wireless links, and gate hardware gets battery backup sized for the outages that come with summer heat and wind events.

Industrial parks in Ontario, Fontana, Rancho Cucamonga and Riverside often share gates and drive aisles while each tenant runs its own unit. BTI partitions the platform so the owner controls shared gates and common doors, and each tenant adds and removes its own staff without calling the property manager.
When a tenant moves out, its partition is closed and its badges stop working, and the next tenant starts clean.
Inside the building, electrical rooms, server closets, chemical storage and parts cages each get their own access list. Door logs show who entered and when, which supports insurance reviews and internal investigations.
Standards and compliance
| Requirement | Source | What it means for your doors |
|---|---|---|
| Electrified egress doors | California Building Code and California Fire Code, enforced by the city building department and the local fire authority | Sensor or push-button release, release on power loss where required, and a tie to the building life safety system where the code calls for it. |
| Accessibility | California Building Code Chapter 11B | Readers, keypads and intercoms mounted at accessible heights with hardware that is easy to operate. |
| Workplace violence prevention | California Labor Code 6401.9 (SB 553) | Controlled entries, visitor records and lockdown give the employer's written prevention plan practical controls. |
| Vehicle gates | UL 325 gate operator safety standard | Gate operators keep entrapment protection when readers and intercoms are added. |
Your building official and fire authority make the final call on code questions; BTI designs to pass their review the first time.
