YourSix is an award-winning Physical Security as a Service (PSaaS) provider based in Minnesota. Y6OS is a true cloud platform. Supported Axis PTZ, fisheye, multi-sensor and thermal cameras connect directly to it, with no NVR, VMS server or site appliance to buy, patch or replace. YourSix describes a redundant architecture with no single point of failure and access from anywhere in a browser or the iOS and Android apps.
Storage can be split two ways: on-camera SD card and YourSix cloud storage (hosted on AWS). YourSix recommends SD plus cloud for redundant retention, so footage stays available even if a camera is damaged or stolen. BTI sizes retention, recording rules and bandwidth for each site. YourSix access control runs on supported Axis door controllers (A1210, A1610 and A1601) with OSDP v2 and Wiegand badge readers and keypads. You manage doors, credentials, schedules and permissions in the same platform as video. Every access event can be checked against its video clip, credentials can be added or revoked instantly, audit-ready event records are kept, and lockdowns can be automated.

Y6OS links glass-break detectors, panic buttons, sirens, strobes, lights and locks to video and sensor events. A detection can sound a siren, flash lights, lock doors and notify responders automatically. Video analytics such as intrusion, zone-crossing and loitering detection, together with radar, give you perimeter intrusion detection around the clock. Alarms can also go to a professional central station for video-verified response.

With Axis, YourSix launched Y6OS Cloud AI Radar and Radar/Video Fusion, which YourSix calls the industry's first direct-to-cloud support for AI security radar. It supports standalone Axis radar, wide-area radar, thermal and hybrid devices, including the AXIS Q1656 and Q1686 radar-video fusion cameras. Radar detects movement in darkness and fog and over distances cameras can't cover, and it captures no personal imagery. Detections can trigger recordings, push, email and webhook alerts, automated talk-down and central station escalation, all without a server on site.
Y6OS controls Axis smart speakers, network horns, strobe speakers and microphones. Operators can issue live talk-downs, play automated deterrence messages when an analytic or sensor fires, and broadcast safety announcements across sites. Monitoring centers also use two-way audio to step in while a crime is in progress. Explore Axis intercoms as well.
Y6OS supports native Axis environmental sensors (such as the AXIS D6310) and third-party Modbus RTU devices. That covers temperature, humidity, air quality and CO2, vape detection, power meters, solar systems and industrial controls. You can set custom alert thresholds, view live and historical trends, and see sensor readings alongside video and access events. It's a good fit for server rooms, cold storage, school restrooms and critical infrastructure.
Stream Connector brings compatible third-party RTSP and ONVIF cameras into Y6OS through an AXIS S30 Series recorder (the 8-channel S3008 Mk II or the 16-channel S3016). Live video appears in the Y6OS Matrix, and footage is recorded locally on the S30. YourSix notes that third-party cameras don't get every native Axis feature. That's why BTI uses Stream Connector as a bridge while you move to direct-to-cloud on your own timeline.
