Eagle Eye Bridges, CMVRs and cabinets

Bridges and CMVRs connect cameras to the Eagle Eye cloud. Eagle Eye is camera agnostic and works with your existing IP and ONVIF cameras. A Bridge buffers video during internet outages and keeps nothing long term on site. A CMVR records to local drives and sends chosen cameras to the cloud.

Brivo and Eagle Eye hardware: FAQ

Which Brivo panel do we need?

It depends on door count and layout. The ACS300 fits smaller buildings, the ACS6000 and ACS6100 scale for larger ones, and the Single Door Controller covers one door.

Can Brivo use our existing HID cards?

Usually. Brivo supports common HID card formats and third party readers over OSDP or Wiegand. We check your card format before ordering readers.

Our HID iCLASS SE readers are end of life. What now?

HID ended sales of those readers on June 30, 2025 and lists end of life as December 31, 2025. The replacement path is HID Signo 20, 20K, 40 and 40K, and BTI handles the swap on Brivo systems.

Does Brivo support phones as credentials?

Yes. Brivo Mobile Pass, Brivo Wallet Pass and HID Mobile Pass through HID Origo can all open Brivo doors.

What is the difference between an Eagle Eye Bridge and a CMVR?

A Bridge sends video to the cloud and only buffers it during outages. A CMVR stores video on site as well as managing it from the cloud.

Do we need Eagle Eye cameras?

No. Eagle Eye is camera agnostic and works with existing IP and ONVIF cameras. Eagle Eye cameras are an option for new coverage.

Can you install hardware at a site with no power?

Often, yes. The Eagle Eye Anywhere cabinet supports solar power and cellular uploads.
