Is Bosch Security still part of Bosch?
Not the product business. Bosch's video, intrusion, access control and communications product units were carved out to Keenfinity Group, owned by investment firm Triton, effective mid-2025. Video now goes to market as IQSIGHT (formerly Bosch Video Systems) and intrusion panels as Radionix, while many products, such as Bosch access control, still carry the Bosch name. Existing systems remain supported. BTI is an authorized IQSIGHT (Bosch video) dealer and continues to service, monitor, program and upgrade installed Bosch/Radionix intrusion panels.
Can BTI take over an existing Bosch system in Chicago?
Yes. We take over B Series and G Series intrusion panels, Bosch access control (AMS / BIS Access Engine) and Bosch/IQSIGHT camera systems installed by other dealers. We review panel programming, firmware, licenses and monitoring accounts, then document the system before we change anything.
Will my B Series or G Series panel keep working with the mobile app?
B Series and G Series panels support the Remote Security Control app. In North America, Radionix also offers the newer Remote Security Manager (RSM) app for B and G Series panels on firmware 3.09 or later (full features need 3.10+). We can check your panel firmware and tell you which app applies.
Do you provide alarm monitoring for Bosch panels?
Yes. BTI connects Bosch and Radionix B Series and G Series panels to UL-listed central station monitoring over IP and cellular communicators, and we handle the panel programming and account setup.
Which Bosch cameras do you install?
We specify current IQSIGHT models with Bosch-branded camera lines such as FLEXIDOME (domes), DINION (bullets), AUTODOME (PTZ) and MIC (rugged PTZ) in the 3100i, 5100i, 7100i and 8100i families, with built-in IVA Pro analytics where the scene calls for it.
Are you licensed to install alarm systems in IL?
Yes. BTI is a licensed alarm contractor in California (ACO 7670), Illinois (127.001638) and Arizona (22913-0). This page covers our Chicagoland team working out of our Downers Grove office.
