OpenEye cloud cameras
Cloud cameras combine camera, recorder and AI processor in one housing and connect straight to OWS without a separate recorder. They work standalone at small sites or alongside recorders at larger ones. See hybrid cloud video for how BTI mixes them.

How BTI picks the right OpenEye camera
- Purpose of the view: overview, identification or license plate detail decides resolution and lens
- Environment: indoor, outdoor, IP67 weather rating and IK10 impact rating where needed
- Light: night performance and glare from headlights or sun
- Mounting: ceiling, wall, pole or corner, and the right OpenEye mount
- Recording: cloud camera, recorder channel or both
- Analytics: which OWS AI features the view should feed

FAQs
Does BTI install OpenEye for homes?
No. We install OpenEye cameras only at businesses and commercial properties, not at private homes.
What OpenEye cameras are available?
OpenEye's current line includes dome, turret, bullet, fisheye, PTZ and multisensor IP cameras, plus seven cloud cameras (OE-CC models) that record on board. All are listed on this page with links to OpenEye's product pages.
What is an OpenEye cloud camera?
It stores video on onboard storage, runs analytics on a dedicated processor and links directly to OWS, so no separate recorder is needed.
Are OpenEye cameras NDAA compliant?
OpenEye lists each current camera model on this page as NDAA compliant on its product page.
Which OpenEye camera has the highest resolution?
The OE-C9912M20 and OE-C9914M20-S are 20MP multisensor cameras. Among single-sensor models, the OE-C3226F12 and OE-CC3214F12 fisheyes are 12MP.
Does OpenEye make a PTZ camera?
Yes. The OE-C8312P2 is a 2MP outdoor PTZ dome with a 40x optical zoom lens.
Can OpenEye cameras deter intruders?
Yes. The OE-C1018T4 turret uses lights and audio to warn people off, and remote video monitoring by BTI can add live response.
Can OpenEye recorders use other camera brands?
Many third-party IP cameras are supported, including Axis. BTI confirms compatibility for each model during the site assessment.
How much do OpenEye cameras cost?
There is no public OpenEye camera price list. BTI quotes each project in writing, with mounts, installation and licensing included.
What warranty comes with OpenEye cameras?
OpenEye's warranty page lists 5 years on fixed cameras sold from October 1, 2025, and 2 years on PTZ motors.
Which older OpenEye models are discontinued?
OpenEye has replaced many older camera models with "-S" versions. For example, the OE-C1011D4 was succeeded by the OE-C1011D4-S. BTI can recommend current replacements for older cameras.
